This half-day course should be taken by one or two people within the company. This will give them the knowledge and skills to do site specific training on WHMIS as required by legislation.

Safety Excellence Leadership – Day One Regina 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This one-and-a-half day course is designed to inform and equip managers and supervisors of their responsibilities in implementing and maintaining your company safety program. The course deals with issues that are vital to the health and safety of your company. It is broken down into four modules:

  • Module 1 – Supervisor’s Role

  • Module 2 - Training

  • Module 3 - Inspections

  • Module 4 - Incident Investigations

Principles of Health & Safety Management Regina 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

This half-day course designed to help companies design an up-to-date safety program. The manual gives examples of different safety policies and practices to make writing your safety manual easier.

Auditor Classroom Portion - Day One Regina 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This two-day course is designed to teach the participant how to evaluate and verify the effectiveness of their health and safety program. The prerequisite for this program is the participant must have taken WHMIS Train the Trainer, Safety Excellence Leadership and Principles of Health & Safety.

This two-day course is designed to teach the participant how to evaluate & verify the effectiveness of their health & safety program. The prerequisite for this program is the participant must have taken WHMIS Train the Trainer, Safety Excellence Leadership and Principles of Health & Safety.

Hoisting & Rigging/Intro to Hand Signals – Day One Saskatoon 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

A two-day course covering hoisting & rigging hazards, ropes, knots, hardware, wire rope, chain, working load limits, slings, hand signals and crane hazards.

 

Friday, Jan. 22, 2016

Auditor Refresher Regina 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

A half-day course designed to update auditors. This course is required every three years to maintain the auditor certification.
